• Sorry I’ve not posted for a while on here…not sure what’s up with that. I’m hoping it’s just another one of my phases.
• I might go with Lonnie to a Photoshop Meet-Up tonight. Not sure. I’m undecided.
• Have you tried the Chocolate Mix Skittles yet? If so, what do you think? If not, you really should. They’re SO good. The Chocolate Mix has five flavors: Vanilla, S’Mores, Chocolate Caramel, Chocolate Pudding and Brownie Batter…all of which are super tasty!
• I had a dream the other night that I turned into a stripper…only it wasn’t me. I looked into the mirror and I was a really nasty looking blonde chick with frizzy hair and just not very pretty AT ALL.
• Lonnie was cold and said, “I can see my breath.” I replied, “It’s dead people.”
• I saw Jim Naybors on TV the other night. What a sweet man. Really. He’s just such a soft spoken and sweet guy. I’m pretty sure he’s still alive…and I’m really hoping I didn’t just jinx that fact.
• My Mom told me last night that she was really worried about me the night before. She said I looked, “Very fragile and pale” when she saw me. I’ve not been sleeping and eating properly, so I’d imagine I didn’t look my best. I hate knowing I worried her, though. Hopefully she’s not worried anymore.
• Lonnie and I went to The Dalles and cleaned out his parents’ chimney for them. Well, Lonnie cleaned it while I just kinda sat on the roof and joked around with his Dad. His parents are really nice people. Ultra religious, but still…very nice. It’s taken me a LONG time to open up to them. I’m so shy around them. I’ve known them for about four years now, and I still have a difficult time making conversation with them. I think they understand that I’m shy and it’s nothing personal, so that helps.
• I noticed that my earring from my left ear is missing. It’s a tiny little martini glass…so cute. I’d better find it!
• I want a new vacuum.
• Halloween is even closer now! Yay! I have a feeling that I’m going to end up being a nun for the third year in a row. We simply can’t afford a different costume. Finances are so tight. It’s horrible. Everyone seems to be feeling it, too. I really hope things will ease up for everyone relatively soon.
• I finally talked to my BFF, Sarah, on the phone the other day! I can’t believe it took me so long to finally talk to her. I hate how shy I am. She’s so easy to talk to, though. I wasn’t nervous or anything…not even one time! We spoke for about three hours or so…never a weird silence. I feel like I’ve known her forever and ever. I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful friend. I love you, Sarah!
• My Mom says she’s liking her new job fairly well. She doesn’t seem overly thrilled with it, but oh well. A job is a job!
• Lonnie’s interviewing for jobs away from home. Our business is still alright, but just not enough. It’d be perfect if people would pay their bills, but the economy is so crappy right now that nobody is able to stay on top of things. If he gets a job outside of the home, we’ll be able to finally pay things off and get some sort of savings.
• I have no idea what to make for dinner tonight…of course.
• I need to call my brother. He’d called and left a message for me on my birthday, but I wasn’t home. I haven’t returned his call yet. I am such a schmuck sometimes!
• I need to mow the lawn. It’ll have to wait ’til the rain stops, though.
• The more I think about it, the more I’m wanting to go to that Photoshop Meet-Up tonight. It’d be good for me to get out and talk with people. Especially people who do the same things I do. Maybe I could actually get a friend or something freaky like that!
• My Mom ordered a Gooseberry Patch cookbook for me. I cannot wait to get it! It comes with a free tote bag, too. I love those books. They have such good ideas…and so easy and yummy, too!
• I’ve been going nuts cleaning lately. My OCD has picked up way too much. I can’t seem to relax. It’s annoying everyone, and even myself. I just don’t know how to stop jumping up and cleaning stuff, though. If I don’t, it just sits in my head and nags and nags until I can’t take it and I get up and do whatever it is. I know something in my life lately has caused it to flare up…I need to figure out what that is.
• I should probably go take a shower. Not only am I freezing, but a hot shower always seems to help chill me out a bit. I’m not tense or anything…just feeling like I could use a little break from everything.

Stumble It!
I am happy to say that I will FINALLY be mailing your package out tomorrow. Took me long enough, but there were a few finishing touches I wanted to put on it. Not that you know what ‘it’ is. But I know you will love it. Enough said.
There was a mess everywhere! I took pics and will blog it later when I feel all bloggy and stuff. :p
Sorry I had to go earlier, my sis came over and brought her 2 girls and we decorated the cupcakes that I had prepared. Thank God I had those done early! It gave the girls something to do, and they were so cute with icing on their face.
Well girlie, I suppose I will close for now. Glad that you are getting a new cookbook. I mean, cooking sucks but we HAVE to do it.
Love,
Sarah
Yay! I can’t wait to get it! I mean, I never ever want you to feel like you HAVE to send me anything, but knowing that you are has me all excited! I will let you know as soon as it gets here!
I can’t wait to see the pictures! Sounds like it was a great time. But then, how could it not be? Cupcakes make the worst of times good!
Those Gooseberry Patch books are so awesome. They’re not just cookbooks. They always have neato little tips and ideas on them, too. I am so excited!
Thanks for taking the time to comment! Love ya’!
Nope, not a Skittles kinda guy.
Sooo, a dream about being a NOT very pretty Stripper, Eh? But, did you at least do the job properly? Uhhh, I’m assuming you were like … stripping paint off of furniture or walls?
Karen, hopefully by you hoping your Mom’s no longer worried, means you are finally getting some sleep and eating somewhat well-ish.
Woo Hoo! Karen & Sarah chatted via phone!
I guess maybe I had an ever so slight hand in planting the seed of the idea by mentioning my Phone Chats with my Cyber Friend. Great to hear that it went beyond y’all’s expectations … what with you 2 worried because of being Shy Non-Phone Talkers and all. Now I’m jealous. Will y’all call me? Just Kidding!

A shower brake does it for me all the time!
I am not a bath person but I can not live without jumping in the shower every time I need to rejuvenate…
Have a fantastic Sunday!!

Thank you all for your comments! I’m so happy to log on here this morning to see that all of you have dropped by.
aaaI don’t have time really to go through and address each and every thing that was said, but just know that your comments mean SO much to me. Knowing I have such loyal friends is what keeps me going. xoxo
Karen! Halloween rocks!
see if you can pull this one off, that way you dont need to be a nun (a nun is a pretty kickass costume, tho)…
http://tinyurl.com/32nmym
It seems like you can “build” it for small bucks, and looks awesome. (but i would use chicken bones to add realism instead of clay ones)…
^_^
That’s pretty awesome! Thanks for the idea!
My daughter thinks I should be a nun again…but this time a dead nun. I kinda like that idea. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
As long as you post pictures of you as a dead nun…
But of course!!!
