I'm being as strong as I can be. I'm just hoping and praying that my Dad will be okay and that he will look back and be able to say that he's happy he had the opportunity to go through the surgery. Its ok to feel upset about it, its natural, considering the circumstances. From what I've heard, your dad is a pretty strong and cool person, he probably knows and understands that you cannot be at his side right now... but im sure he apreciates the fact that you'd like to be with him. It sucks big time to hear he's in pain. Please know that my best wishes are with him, and you too. My mother just went trough an operation too (nothing comparable to your dad's, tho) so i feel you. She's doing fine now, but she was in pain the days after the operation. Make your father remember himself that this days might be really painful, but there is a reward for enduring this pain...
