• I’ve gotten a really good start on the site design for that fireworks company I was talking about previously. It feels good to have gotten so much work done today…although I probably should have gotten even more done.

• I’m listening to this album called “Arabic Lounge” right now. I enjoy this stuff quite a bit. It’s a lot different from the norm, but that’s a good thing.

• We watched “The Sasquatch Gang” two nights ago. I totally loved it. It’s from the same guys who made “Napoleon Dynamite“…and you can tell. It has the same feeling to it - not to mention lots of the same actors are in it. If you enjoyed “Napoleon Dynamite”, you’d probably enjoy “The Sasquatch Gang” as well.

• Dinner sucked tonight. Everyone else liked it, but I hated it. I decided to make Hamburger Helper…but with ground turkey instead of beef. (Lonnie and I don’t eat beef, pork, lamb, buffalo, deer…anything but chicken, turkey, and seafood.) Hamburger Helper is already pretty disgusting, but when you make it with turkey, it’s even more nasty.

• I need to make a bunch more designs for products in my shop. It’d be nice if there were more hours in a day. I hate feeling so bogged down with this ginormous To Do list.

• My coffee was SO good today. I got some fresh beans last night…Mmmm…  

• I’m going to the doctor tomorrow. I promised Lonnie I would. I hate doctors. They suck. All of ‘em. They’re never very nice…and the ones who are nice don’t seem to help much, anyway.

• The reason I’m going to the doc…well, there are actually two reasons. 1. My back/neck pain has gotten unbearable again. 2. I need an increase in dosage of my meds. The anxiety/panic and depression are getting super bad again, and I hate it. I’ll be okay…I just need the right level of chemicals in me.

• I’m hungry for dessert. I shouldn’t say that. I’m actually not hungry at all…just craving something sweet. Ice cream would be good. Or a Snickers would rock, too!

• It’s so weird that I like sweets so much lately. I used to dislike them a lot. I never ever craved sweet stuff. It seems like the older I get, though, the more I like them. Just what my thighs need!

• I switched back to the Mirage Alpha Opera skin yesterday. I needed a change.

• For those of you who use Twitter, you should really check TweetDeck out! I sent the link to Casey earlier today, and she agrees that it’s badass! Do it!

• I’m soooo cold! I wish I could talk Lonnie into turning the A/C off.

• I downloaded a new color browser today. It’s really awesome. I’ve already put it to good use while working on that fireworks site earlier. You should check it out if you’re into that sort of thing.

• These people should pay me to be advertising their programs like this! …just kidding, but wouldn’t that pwn?!

• Alright…time to go back to work. The last thing I need is to get out of my creative groove. That would TOTALLY suck!

 • Wow…I’m kinda scared with the way I woke up today. As soon as my peepers popped open, I was super happy. Don’t get me wrong - I’m glad I’m happy, but for me to wake up happy…well, that’s not common AT ALL.  I normally detest mornings! I think Amir is really rubbing off on me!  

• I’m wearing the miniature Martini glass earrings my Mom made for me. They really are adorable. I love them. Hmm…maybe I’ll send a pair to my BFF!  

• I’m rockin’ out to some KMFDM today. I listen to them once in a while. Usually when I have more energy than I know what to do with…today is the perfect day!

• I forgot to take my Paxil yesterday and I’m really paying for it today. I’m super dizzy! I hate it when that happens…it even makes me feel kinda pukey. I can’t believe that just one day without it does this to me. It’s very obvious that my body is addicted to the stuff…which I hate the idea of, but oh well. It keeps me (sorta) sane.

• I’m still not totally happy with the smilies I have on here. I will either look for a different pack or create a pack of my own. The latter would take more time, so I’m hoping I can find some premade ones that I like.

• My cat, Araya, is sitting on my lap with her arm and head resting on my wrist. Do you know how hard it is to type with a cat laying on your arm?   Carpal Tunnel, here I come!

• Lonnie just turned to me and said, “Can you put a sock in it? I need to make a call!” I’m dying over here…hahaha. That was so funny. He wasn’t being rude like it may seem…he was quoting “Zoolander” when he tells Billy Zane to put a sock in it. Everytime I see that part of the movie, I nearly hyperventilate with laughter! (I’m easily amused…in case you hadn’t noticed.)

• My leg is totally asleep now…but I’m feeling too guilty to move Araya. Wow…she’s so spoiled. I’m willing to let my leg die rather than have to disturb her while she’s sleeping.

• My son has been listening to Insane Clown Posse lately. I’ve never been ashamed of anything he’s done…until now! I mean really…yuck! They totally suck! I’m hoping this is just a phase that he will outgrow ASAFP!!!

• Uh, yeah…speaking of my kids and their horrific taste in music, my daughter asked me, “Will you please burn me a CD of Miley Cyrus?” I pretty much want to kill her friend for getting her into that crapola. She had no interest in Miley Cyrus AKA Hannah Montana prior to spending two nights at her friend’s house. Once again - I hope it’s a phase!!!

• My neck hurts.

• Wow! It’s like Araya knew what I just typed…she got up!

• If any of you use Twitter, please let me know! I haven’t found anyone over there that I know, and I would like to add my friends to my list of people I’m following.

• Awww, man! I didn’t realize National Left-Handers Day was on August 13th! What a total bummer. I would have celebrated like a mo-fo! Oh well…next year.

• We got my daughter a desk from a garage sale the other day. It was only 5 bucks…pretty nice desk, too. The only problem is that it needs to be painted. It’s white…some of the paint is chipped off here and there. It looks kinda trashy because of it. Well, we have some spray paint to paint it with, but the weather isn’t cooperating. It’s too hot and humid outside. The paint wouldn’t stick on there properly. Of course, my daughter is all bummed out about it…she wants her desk and she wants it NOW. There’s no winning!

• My feet are frozen solid. I’m going to go put socks on.

• Ahhh…much better!

• Okay, the time has come for me to shut the heck up. I have a lot of stuff I need to accomplish today. I want to come up with at least two new designs for my shop. I have an idea brewing in my head…just gotta make it work in Photoshop. I also need to begin the layout for a client’s site. On top of that, I need to figure out how to code a tree menu for another client’s site. I also need to clean around the house, figure out what to cook for dinner, and do a buttload of other stuff. Wow…I’m even more busy than I thought!

 • As the title of this entry suggests, it’s really gloomy again today. I say “again” because it was this way yesterday as well. I’d normally be okay with it, but it seems to be depressing the heck out of me today. Oh well…this, too, shall pass.  

• I’m listening to Alice In Chains - “Jar of Flies”…which is probably a pretty stupid move since it depresses me as well.       Duh!

• We took my son to the doctor last night. He wiped out on his bike the night before and hurt his arm. After getting x-rays and whatnot, we learned that it’s not broken - just a bad sprain.  Whew!  They gave him some Tylenol 3 and put his arm in a splint thingy. He’s got to wear it for 4-5 days and then he should be just fine.

• I’ve been having some REALLY messed up dreams lately. Last night, I dreamed that my boyfriend was an executioner. It wasn’t Lonnie…some other guy who had an uncanny resemblance to Leatherface.  Not his face (thank God)…just his build and choice of attire.    :lol:

• I have been watching a show on BBC America called “Skins“.  It’s quite entertaining. It’s kinda like an English version of Beverly Hills 90210 or Dawson’s Creek…but WAY less gay and lame.        It deals with sex, drugs, and coming of age…etc.  I recommend it.

• My Mom went to this place here in Vancouver called Jerusalem Cafe on her way home from a job interview today.  She said the guy who owns it is super nice…his name is Anton, which totally doesn’t fit for an Arab, but okay.        Apparently he ripped my Mom a new one for being ashamed of her heritage.  She’s always lied and told people she was born in San Francisco instead of the truth that she was born in Palestine. She’s dealt with a lot of discrimination in her life, so she says it’s easier to lie than to be up front and tell people she’s an Arab. I say BUNK! I am very, very proud to be Arabic, and if someone doesn’t like it, they can bite my Arab keister. That’s pretty much what Anton told my Mom, too…so maybe she’ll finally start being proud of what she is rather than ashamed. That’d be a really nice change.

• I downloaded IrfanView again. I used to use it years ago, but then for some reason I started using MS Picture Manager instead. I like IrfanView much more. Animated gifs are actually animated when you view them…rather than being still pictures like they are with MS Picture Manager.

• I’ve been sending my BFF, Sarah, text messages from my computer. Hehe…it’s pretty fun, actually. I’m easily entertained, I guess. The only problem is that I’m worried that she’s being charged every time I send a text message, so I’m doing it less than I would like to.  (Sarah, if you’re reading this, please let me know if you’re being charged or not, okay?)

• I said it before, and I will say it again - if you want me to link to you on my sidebar, just let me know! I’m wanting more junk over there, so I’m more than happy to oblige.   

• Speaking of my sidebar, I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but I have an Anti-Obama thingy over there.  I would like to clarify that I am in no way, shape, or form a Republican. (other than the fact that I’m totally pro-life)  I will not be voting for McCain, either. I can’t stand the guy. I really, really can’t stand Obama, though, so that’s why I’ve got that there. That’s all I will say on the matter. The last thing I want is another political debate. I pretty much couldn’t hate political debates more than I do right now.

• I really need to pee!      I’ll be right back!…….

• School starts on the 3rd of September, and we’ve yet to buy any clothes or supplies.  My daughter asked me the other day, “Why do we always do the shopping right before school starts?”   I just kinda stood there and said, “Umm, I have no idea. I guess we’re just last minute kinds of people.”  Really good explanation.  :roll:

• My Mom is going to make Salmon for dinner tonight. Mmmm….I loves me a hunk o’ Salmon!

• I am SO cold right now. Lonnie has the A/C cranked up way too high.      I hate it when our body thermostats aren’t in sync.

• Okay, that’s enough babbling for now.  I’m going to go throw some clothes in the washing machine and do a few other things around the house.  Have a super-duper day and I’ll babble at you again soon!  

• I just created the graphics I’m using in my Random Randomness© today. I totally dig ‘em…if I may say so myself…and I may since it’s my blog. :p

• I’m in a freakishly good mood today. Normally I’d be happy about it, but wow…what the heck? I haven’t been this cheerful in quite some time.  Don’t get me wrong - I’m not complaining…just trying to understand.

• I added a couple items to my sidebar last night. The first one is a Twitter widget.  It displays my most recent Tweets. The other item is a translation widget. It’ll translate my blog into several different languages. I have no idea how well it works since I only speak English, but I thought it’d be a good idea to offer that option for those of you whose first language is something other than English. I did my best, anyway. If it doesn’t work well, I apologize.  

• I’m really happy that I didn’t decide to do away with this blog. I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit lately. It just needed to be updated and whatnot. I’ve been spending more and more time over here and less time on My Opera …although I still spend an unreal amount of time over there.  :lol:

• My daughter has been drawing a lot lately. She’s always enjoyed drawing, but lately I’ve really noticed that her skills are improving drastically. She drew pictures of our two cats…they were very impressive. She’s only ten years old, but I would say that her drawing skills are about the same as someone who is around 15 or 16.

• Lonnie bought me some pink legal pads the other day. I was touched that he thought of me while he was at Office Depot.  He also got me some pink Post-It Notes that have a big ‘K’ on them.   8o  I was so excited when I saw them! I’ve been doing my best to use them sparingly so I won’t run out of them anytime soon.

• I like these smilies way more than the default ones…although they’re still not perfect. I might end up making my own and using them instead.     I’m super picky.  (EDIT: I just published this entry and noticed that lots of my smilies aren’t working. I’ll fix it as soon as I figure out why the heck it’s doing that.)

• We haven’t done any back-to-school shopping yet.  All four of us dread doing it…it means that school is right around the corner and none of us want that.  Well, maybe that’s not totally true. I don’t think Lonnie shares my dread for the kids going back to school.  He pretty much looks forward to it like most “normal” parents do.

• I’m listening to “Doggy Style” by Snoop right now.    I’m not exactly a fan of Rap, so this is a rare occasion.  There are very few Rap songs I can tolerate…but I oddly like this entire album.  I guess Snoop’s the exception to the rule for me.  Freaky, I know.

• I’ve only had two cups of coffee so far today. I’m kinda trying to take it easy.

• I just cranked my sub-woofer up.

• I’ve got some chicken thawed out for dinner tonight. I’m not sure what to do with it yet.  Maybe chicken tacos or something.

• My Wakoopa thing isn’t accurate. I’ve been using Photoshop like crazy lately, but it says that only 9% of my computer use is on Photoshop? BUNK!  :(  Not true! I’ve also been using CuteFTP Pro a whole lot as well…but its’ not even showing on my little pie chart thing!  I’m irritated….but still happy at the same time.  :shock:  I’m just a loon.

• I wonder how many times the ‘F Bomb’ is dropped on this album?  I should start it over from the beginning and count each time that word is used….but even I have better things to do than that. (believe it or not)

• Lonnie’s feeling better lately. His gums are finally healing after having that dental catastrophe happen.  :(  My poor Baby.  I hated seeing him go through so much pain and suffering.  It was so bad that I wanted to put a hit out on his dentist….but then I remembered that God will take care of the revenge side of things, so I concentrated all of my energy on spoiling my man.  8)

•  :lol:  I think I’m enjoying these new smilies a bit too much. I’ve used like 23948732 of them so far!  :o

•  I guess I’ll bring this edition of Random Randomness© to an end.
