• Sorry it’s been so long since I last posted. The whole back-to-school thing made me fall behind on everything. Thank goodness it’s all done and over with.

• I’m drinking Mocha Java coffee with Hazelnut creamer. It’s SO good!

• Lonnie just yelled at his computer. When he does that, he reminds me of my Dad. When I was a kid, I always knew that if I heard yelling coming from the garage, I needed to stay away. My Dad’s the most gentle person I know, but when he’s working on a car and something goes wrong…WHEW! Look out!

• I need to put my make-up on. I shall return…

• Okay, I’m back and looking a little better than I was ten minutes ago. I hate looking icky. I guess I’m shallow or something. I just don’t like feeling like I could look better than I do. My outlook seems to be better when I look half way decent. Is that shallow, or is that kind of normal?

• Speaking of human behavior, my son is taking Psychology in school. The first day of the new school year was yesterday. He came home and said that he thinks he’s really going to like his Psychology class. I wish they offered badass classes like that to me when I was in school. Maybe I wouldn’t have hated it as much as I did.

• Nah - I still would have hated it!

• I think I’m going to bake some cupcakes today. It’s been a while since I’ve baked anything, and I like to bake stuff for the kids so they have tasty treats when they get home from school. My kids’ friends always appreciate that, too.

• I’m in a pretty good mood today. Yay! Much better than yesterday. I was totally bummed out for some reason. I’m sure it has something to do with my kids leaving to go to school. I know I’ve said it like 2398473 times before, but I miss them SO much when they’re gone.

• I’m going to go make a cup of coffee for Lonnie.

• He appreciated that! I love doing stuff for him and the kids. It truly makes me happy.

• Lonnie’s friend, Chad and his wife, Becky are going to be coming over any minute. Becky is a photographer, and she wants to talk business with Lonnie. I’m not sure if she just needs business advice or what, but it’ll be nice to see them again. They’re super nice people…and very personable.

• I want to mow the lawn today, but I think it’s too soon. I’m trying to only do it once per week, but when it starts looking just a tad too long, I have to go out there and mow it down. I guess it’s the OCD.

• I’ve decided I’m never going to drink alcohol again. It honestly does nothing for me anymore. I never thought I’d say that, but it’s true. I just don’t enjoy it…and I shouldn’t be drinking it, anyway.

• My daughter is 5′ tall and weighs only 65 lbs.. I’m not sure what made me think about that, but when I really stop and think about it, that’s amazingly tiny. I hope people don’t ever think we don’t feed her enough. She literally eats more than I do. I’d pretty much do anything to  have her metabolism!

• We watched “Grindhouse” the other night. I didn’t even want to watch it, but I did and ended up liking it a lot! Quentin Tarantino drives me absolutely nuts. I can’t stand the guy…and normally don’t like his movies, either. There are a few exceptions…”Grindhouse” is one of them.

• I think Lonnie’s addicted to white boards.

• Okay, I gotta go work on a website now. Sorry again for not posting for a few days. I’ll do my best not to let it happen again.

 • I’ve gotten a really good start on the site design for that fireworks company I was talking about previously. It feels good to have gotten so much work done today…although I probably should have gotten even more done.

• I’m listening to this album called “Arabic Lounge” right now. I enjoy this stuff quite a bit. It’s a lot different from the norm, but that’s a good thing.

• We watched “The Sasquatch Gang” two nights ago. I totally loved it. It’s from the same guys who made “Napoleon Dynamite“…and you can tell. It has the same feeling to it - not to mention lots of the same actors are in it. If you enjoyed “Napoleon Dynamite”, you’d probably enjoy “The Sasquatch Gang” as well.

• Dinner sucked tonight. Everyone else liked it, but I hated it. I decided to make Hamburger Helper…but with ground turkey instead of beef. (Lonnie and I don’t eat beef, pork, lamb, buffalo, deer…anything but chicken, turkey, and seafood.) Hamburger Helper is already pretty disgusting, but when you make it with turkey, it’s even more nasty.

• I need to make a bunch more designs for products in my shop. It’d be nice if there were more hours in a day. I hate feeling so bogged down with this ginormous To Do list.

• My coffee was SO good today. I got some fresh beans last night…Mmmm…  

• I’m going to the doctor tomorrow. I promised Lonnie I would. I hate doctors. They suck. All of ‘em. They’re never very nice…and the ones who are nice don’t seem to help much, anyway.

• The reason I’m going to the doc…well, there are actually two reasons. 1. My back/neck pain has gotten unbearable again. 2. I need an increase in dosage of my meds. The anxiety/panic and depression are getting super bad again, and I hate it. I’ll be okay…I just need the right level of chemicals in me.

• I’m hungry for dessert. I shouldn’t say that. I’m actually not hungry at all…just craving something sweet. Ice cream would be good. Or a Snickers would rock, too!

• It’s so weird that I like sweets so much lately. I used to dislike them a lot. I never ever craved sweet stuff. It seems like the older I get, though, the more I like them. Just what my thighs need!

• I switched back to the Mirage Alpha Opera skin yesterday. I needed a change.

• For those of you who use Twitter, you should really check TweetDeck out! I sent the link to Casey earlier today, and she agrees that it’s badass! Do it!

• I’m soooo cold! I wish I could talk Lonnie into turning the A/C off.

• I downloaded a new color browser today. It’s really awesome. I’ve already put it to good use while working on that fireworks site earlier. You should check it out if you’re into that sort of thing.

• These people should pay me to be advertising their programs like this! …just kidding, but wouldn’t that pwn?!

• Alright…time to go back to work. The last thing I need is to get out of my creative groove. That would TOTALLY suck!

 • Wow…I’m kinda scared with the way I woke up today. As soon as my peepers popped open, I was super happy. Don’t get me wrong - I’m glad I’m happy, but for me to wake up happy…well, that’s not common AT ALL.  I normally detest mornings! I think Amir is really rubbing off on me!  

• I’m wearing the miniature Martini glass earrings my Mom made for me. They really are adorable. I love them. Hmm…maybe I’ll send a pair to my BFF!  

• I’m rockin’ out to some KMFDM today. I listen to them once in a while. Usually when I have more energy than I know what to do with…today is the perfect day!

• I forgot to take my Paxil yesterday and I’m really paying for it today. I’m super dizzy! I hate it when that happens…it even makes me feel kinda pukey. I can’t believe that just one day without it does this to me. It’s very obvious that my body is addicted to the stuff…which I hate the idea of, but oh well. It keeps me (sorta) sane.

• I’m still not totally happy with the smilies I have on here. I will either look for a different pack or create a pack of my own. The latter would take more time, so I’m hoping I can find some premade ones that I like.

• My cat, Araya, is sitting on my lap with her arm and head resting on my wrist. Do you know how hard it is to type with a cat laying on your arm?   Carpal Tunnel, here I come!

• Lonnie just turned to me and said, “Can you put a sock in it? I need to make a call!” I’m dying over here…hahaha. That was so funny. He wasn’t being rude like it may seem…he was quoting “Zoolander” when he tells Billy Zane to put a sock in it. Everytime I see that part of the movie, I nearly hyperventilate with laughter! (I’m easily amused…in case you hadn’t noticed.)

• My leg is totally asleep now…but I’m feeling too guilty to move Araya. Wow…she’s so spoiled. I’m willing to let my leg die rather than have to disturb her while she’s sleeping.

• My son has been listening to Insane Clown Posse lately. I’ve never been ashamed of anything he’s done…until now! I mean really…yuck! They totally suck! I’m hoping this is just a phase that he will outgrow ASAFP!!!

• Uh, yeah…speaking of my kids and their horrific taste in music, my daughter asked me, “Will you please burn me a CD of Miley Cyrus?” I pretty much want to kill her friend for getting her into that crapola. She had no interest in Miley Cyrus AKA Hannah Montana prior to spending two nights at her friend’s house. Once again - I hope it’s a phase!!!

• My neck hurts.

• Wow! It’s like Araya knew what I just typed…she got up!

• If any of you use Twitter, please let me know! I haven’t found anyone over there that I know, and I would like to add my friends to my list of people I’m following.

• Awww, man! I didn’t realize National Left-Handers Day was on August 13th! What a total bummer. I would have celebrated like a mo-fo! Oh well…next year.

• We got my daughter a desk from a garage sale the other day. It was only 5 bucks…pretty nice desk, too. The only problem is that it needs to be painted. It’s white…some of the paint is chipped off here and there. It looks kinda trashy because of it. Well, we have some spray paint to paint it with, but the weather isn’t cooperating. It’s too hot and humid outside. The paint wouldn’t stick on there properly. Of course, my daughter is all bummed out about it…she wants her desk and she wants it NOW. There’s no winning!

• My feet are frozen solid. I’m going to go put socks on.

• Ahhh…much better!

• Okay, the time has come for me to shut the heck up. I have a lot of stuff I need to accomplish today. I want to come up with at least two new designs for my shop. I have an idea brewing in my head…just gotta make it work in Photoshop. I also need to begin the layout for a client’s site. On top of that, I need to figure out how to code a tree menu for another client’s site. I also need to clean around the house, figure out what to cook for dinner, and do a buttload of other stuff. Wow…I’m even more busy than I thought!

• I’m on my second cup of coffee right now. That basically means that by the time 3:00 in the afternoon rolls around, I probably won’t even remember typing this. I’m barely alive at this point.

• I have been talking with Mike over on MySpace. I cannot even begin to express how happy I am that we’re friends again! It seriously doesn’t even feel like we ever stopped being friends. I guess we didn’t, really. We just kinda went our separate ways for a while, but still cared about each other. I’m SO excited to be able to be a part of his life again! I knew that I missed him, but I didn’t realize how much until we began talking again. *sigh* Thank goodness I wrote that message!

• I still haven’t called Planters about the whole gypping of the nuts thing. I feel kinda bad when I complain about stuff. I am always afraid someone will think that I’m just trying to get something for free. I mean…yeah - I want replacement nuts, but I am not looking for a hand-out!

• I still haven’t called my Dad yet….I gotta remember to do that sometime today!

• Both my daughter and my son are home from school today. This flu is screwing with the entire country.

• I need to get my ass out there and take pictures of random people today! I’m going to take the kids to the doc, so maybe I’ll bring the camera with me.

• Lonnie had turned the ringer off on the phone last night, so I missed a call! It would have been nice for him to tell me that he’d done that!

• I hope I don’t jinx myself by saying this, but I have had really good dreams for the past three nights! I’m not used to having good dreams back-to-back like this, so I’m kinda taken back by it. I hope it’s not a calm before a storm or something. That would totally suck! I wouldn’t be too surprised, though.

• I’m sick of eating. Seriously. Lately I have just not felt like eating. I have been eating three meals per day, and it feels like I’m doing nothing but eating. I hate it. Sometimes I enjoy eating…but not lately. It’s like a necessary evil or something. Bah! I wish it were optional!

• It’s gloomy outside today. It’s been pretty nice lately, so I can’t complain. I still can’t wait for summer, though! Living an hour and a half away from the ocean is like torture! I know it’s right there, but it’s too icky to go play in it! HURRY UP, SUMMER!!! If I close my eyes and concentrate for ten seconds, I can take myself to the beach….laying in the sand, hearing the waves, smelling the ocean air, ooooh….there goes a seagull over head. D’oh! He just took a crap on Lonnie’s head! Okay…maybe my daydreams aren’t made for soap operas, but I certainly do enjoy them!

• St. Patty’s day is coming pretty soon. That’s my Grandma’s birthday. (R.I.P.) We normally go out and do a few green Jell-O shots and a couple shots of Jameson or something, but I don’t think we’ll do anything this year. We’re too broke to blow money like that. I don’t need to be drinking, anyway. All it does is make me feel like total crapola the next day. I’m getting old…or at least oldER.

• We watched Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer last night. Two words: Yawn Fest! In my opinion, Jessica Alba was already nothing special, but when you put a blonde wig on her, she’s even less special. Like I said - just my opinion. I realize that the majority of the free world thinks she’s hot…once again, I’m the minority. Jessica Beal? Now she’s hot…yeah. Alba? Not so much. Chicks aside, though, the movie’s effects were pretty lame. I always look for effects since I’m a big nerd…unimpressed, to say the least. I think Lonnie enjoyed it, though. That’s how it usually works. We rarely see eye-to-eye on movies…or music.

• I am going to test out the new washer and dryer today! Yes!!! I finally have a full load of dirty stuff. w00t! They’re both the front loading kind. They’re supposed to be super energy efficient, so we’ll see if our utility bills agree or not.

• I’ve been working on that pet sitting site thingy-ma-bob. Yowzer…I am totally in love with the layout so far. It’s really creative and not something I’ve seen before. Lonnie even said that if I keep going at the rate I’ve been going, it’ll be one of the best sites in the portfolio! Yay! ….which reminds me that we totally need to update the portfolio on the site. It’s not been updated in like 5 years. People think we’re five years behind the competition! That’s marvelous! It sucks when you’re so busy working on everyone else’s stuff that you don’t have time to update your own stuff. I will add that to the To Do list!

• I hate it when I accidentally hit F11 and it makes the page go full screen. I’m not sure why it irritates me so badly, but it does.

• I hit my front tooth on my coffee cup! Owie!

• The time has come for me to go take a shower and then haul my children to the doctor’s office. They don’t open until noon - which I think is completely asinine. I’ll do my best to post a Random Person of The Day© picture later on. If not, though, I will tomorrow. Have a terrific day!
