• If I make a butt-load of mistakes while typing this, I have a valid reason. No, I’m not tanked up. I don’t drink. I put these new French tips on my nails last night…they’re longer than usual, so I’m typing at a fraction of the speed I’d normally type AND I’m making tons of mistakes. Oh well. At least my hands look pretty .

• Nobody will EVER be able to hear the song “Everybody’s Workin’ For The Weekend” by Loverboy again without seeing Chris Farley doing his Chip n’ Dales thing.     He single handedly ruined that one for Loverboy…although I’d much prefer to picture good ol’ Farley than the dudes from Loverboy.

• Lonnie’s pulling an all-nighter tonight, so I’m going to do my best to stay up, too. I feel too guilty sleeping while he’s working all night. He doesn’t expect me to stay up - its’ just how I am.

• I’m sucking down coffee like it’s going out of style. Hopefully I’ll help.

• I love my new desktop. I LOVED my last one, so I was sad to see it go, but now that I’m doing this whole Desktop Thursday thing, I have to change it weekly. I normally would, anyway….unless I have one I really adore like last week’s. That’s okay. It’ll make the rounds again sometime in the future.

• I’m using OneNote to compose this again.  :swoon:

• I keep applying clear coat to my French tips. I’m afraid all the clicking on my keyboard will wear the white down. So I apply like two coats of clear coat per day. Better safe than sorry…although I only paid $3.57 for them at Sally Beauty Supply AKA my new home away from home.

• I love you, Sarah! xoxox

• Just had to say that. She’s not been online too much lately and I miss her lots. For those of you who don’t already know, we have declared that we’re each other’s wives. Yes, that’s right. We’re cyber married. If it’s good enough for these prepubescent little twits on MySpace, it’s good enough for us.    :P

• Yes, Lonnie is aware of the marriage to Sarah. He just rolls his eyes at it.        Let him laugh…whatever. GOSH!

• The “toys” they give you in Cracker Jacks anymore are freakin’ pathetic. I demand a REAL toy!!!

• We bought 60 lemons, a jar of Cayenne Pepper, and a jar of 100% pure Maple syrup last night. We’re going to start the Master Cleanse Diet the day after tomorrow. I cannot wait! I’m SO excited!!! It’s FINALLY happening!!! I’m going to keep a log on how I feel and everything. Just thinking about it is making me feel sooooooooo flippin’ excited!

• My daughter is already buggin’ me to decorate for Christmas. We decorate on the weekend after Thanksgiving….alaways have. I told her that, but she thinks we need to change tradition. I explained to her that if we change traditions, the house might spontaneously combust, so we’ve gotta stay on schedule. She looked at me and said, “Gimme a flippin’ break, Mom. I’m 10, not retarded!”      Where the heck does she get that mouth?!?!

• My tailbone’s bothering me. I have arthritis in it from about 5 years ago when I fell down the stairs and broke it. It acts up once in a while. I guess these are one of these times. I need to go ask Lonnie to kiss my ass. Hehe

• Holy balls of crap! Now Lonnie’s playing Flock of Seagulls - “I Ran”. If he keeps it up, I’m going to be the one running…down the street in my t-shirt whilst screaming, “SAVE ME!!!

• I’m so stoked that Lonnie’s been using his My.Opera account lately. I hope he’ll actually stick with it. I am certainly not holding my breath.

• BTW - If you would like a Christmas/holiday card from me, let me know and I will get your addy from you and mail you one. I want to break a personal record this year of how many I sent. I normally send quite the fist full, but I REALLY want to spread the cheer this year!!! So, seriously…..if you would like to be added to the list, just say the word, I’ll give you my email address where you can send me your mailing address and I will send a card! I promise to keep your address secret. I’m not the type to go blabbin’ that type of info. I respect people’s privacy just as though it is my own. Scout’s honor!

• Oh my. Now it’s “Karma Chameleon” - Culture Club. I’m not ashamed (although I should be) to admit that I actually like this song! Hahahaa

• Holy crapola! Sir-Mix-A-Lot?!?!?!!?! “Buttermilk Biscuits”!!! Hells yeah! Hahhahaaha…I love this song!

• Okay, time to wrap this mo-fracky up. Thank you so much to all of you who read my blog so religiously. I can’t tell you how excited I get when I get on my computer in the morning, open my Outlook, and see that I’ve got new comments on here. I immediately get all giddy and then race over here to see what was said. The fact that anyone wants to read what I have to say boggles my mind…and the fact that you keep coming back is truly touching. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I love you guys!!!

The truth is finally out. I’ve been carrying on an affair with a young man named Willy. Mr. Waddles and I were recently seen together at a local grocery store where we were shocked to find a camera in our faces.

We can no longer hide our love for one another. I just cannot resist Willy’s charm…and bright yellow beak. Not to mention his little red scarf that totally brings out his eyes and just looks so sexy on him.

*sigh*

Oh well. All good things must come to an end. I cannot continue my affair with Mr. Waddles now that the truth has been exposed.

Haven’t you heard yet? Today is the best day known to man: National Coffee Day!

I am ashamed and embarrassed to admit that had it not been for Eric Anderson’s post over on Pownce I wouldn’t even have known that this glorious holiday was upon us!

(By the way; Eric Anderson has some really awesome Pownceage…and his site is packed full of awesome stuff. He really seems to be an super cool guy with an amazing amount of killer links to things all over the Net. [He’s a designer, too! w00t!] I highly recommend reading what he’s got to say!)

Anyway, back to this glorious holiday! Coffee….ahhh, yes. The beverage of life. As anyone who really knows me knows, I am an avid coffee drinker. I average 2-3 pots of coffee per day. I can’t even begin to express how much I love the stuff. There have been times when I’ve weened myself down and done without it for a week or two here and there…but I always go back to it. Absence from it only makes my heart grow fonder!

So, how are you going to celebrate National Coffee Day this year? Are you going to go to Starbucks or some other shop that you consider your favorite and indulge in the finest of brews? Are you going to stay at home and drink your coffee the way you normally do? Are you maybe going to melt some milk chocolate and cover some tasty coffee beans in it? Or will today be like every other day?

Please share your coffee-lovin’ stories with me! I am dying to know if you are as excited over this holiday as I am. I would love to know how you’re going to celebrate…if at all. And even if you’re not, that’s perfectly fine, too. I totally understand that not everyone is an addict like I am. I do know, though, that my BFF Sarah, and my other amazing friend, Casey, will be appreciating this day in some way, shape or form. Even if they go through with their normal routines, I have absolutely no doubts that knowing it’s National Coffee Day will mean something big to both of them! Birds of a feather really do flock together!

In closing, I would just like to say once more…
HAPPY NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!!!

• After getting a lot of well needed rest and relaxation yesterday, I’m back and feeling much better than I was.  I could still stand to relax some more, but my ginormous list of Things To Do disagrees with that logic.

• I just got off the phone with my Dad. He’s not doing nearly as well as I had hoped he’d be. He said he’s really been dealing with feeling overly dizzy lately. The doctors aren’t sure why. He’s 6′4″ and weighed about 225 lbs. prior to the heart surgery. (Less than four weeks ago) He’s now down to 205 lbs.  - which is a pretty unhealthy weight for his build. He’s underweight, and apparently the doctors think that maybe he lost too much weight too quickly, and that’s why he’s dealing with dizziness. He’s doing his best to eat and gain weight back. I hope he feels better very soon.   :(

• Lonnie made coffee today. It’s a little bitter, but still pretty good. The gesture was certainly a sweet one and very appreciated!

• My Mom is at a job interview right now. I’m hoping that she gets it. She is having one heck of a hard time finding a job.  It’s stressful for all of us and has left her feeling depressed and useless.   :(

• Wow…I’m just a ball of sunshine today, huh?!

• I’m making Taco Salads for dinner tonight. With ground turkey, of course.

• I just turned LaunchCast on….wow. There is some really crappy music on that thing.

• Okay, now it’s on Big Hits of The 80’s. Maybe that’ll be good.

• I feel like a big, fat cow lately. I hate feeling this way. I mean, nobody likes to feel like a cow, but I really, really hate it.

• “I’ll Be Watching You” by The Police just came on.

• I just got up, walked over to Lonnie, planted a huge kiss on his neck, and came back to finish my Randomness.   :D

• It occurred to me a couple days ago that I’ve not taken pictures of anything in about a month.  That’s just not like me. I think I might be beginning the downward spiral to S.A.D.. I need to nip that mother in the bud!

• I also need to recharge the batteries for my camera. This whole not taking pictures thing is buggin’ me. I love posting picture blogs…and other people seem to enjoy them, too. I will make a point to get that going ASAP!

• “Don’t You (forget about me)” by Simple Minds just came on. Pretty neato song…I LOVE “The Breakfast Club“! Holy crap…I had some MAJOR hots for Judd Nelson in that movie.

• I’ve always gone for the “bad boy” type of guy. Lonnie was pretty much the first decent guy I really ever went for. All of my other boyfriends were more of the long-haird, hard-ass kinda guys.      I wish I would have known then what I know now! Nerds/Geeks make awesome partners!

• Psssht…I hate the fact that this LauchCast Radio thingy has commercials.

• I still haven’t gone to a doctor for my broke toe.      I just keep stubbing that sucker more and more. I haven’t taken anyone’s advice and taped it up or anything. I have no idea what my problem is…I just keep making the break worse and worse.

• I suddenly got an urge to play some Grand Theft Auto. Too bad I wasted my lazy day doing nothing yesterday!

• I think I’m going to go take a shower and do some laundry…then come back to my computer and work on a layout. Yeah…I will. Catch ya’ later! :D
