 • Wow…I’m kinda scared with the way I woke up today. As soon as my peepers popped open, I was super happy. Don’t get me wrong - I’m glad I’m happy, but for me to wake up happy…well, that’s not common AT ALL.  I normally detest mornings! I think Amir is really rubbing off on me!

• I’m wearing the miniature Martini glass earrings my Mom made for me. They really are adorable. I love them. Hmm…maybe I’ll send a pair to my BFF!

• I’m rockin’ out to some KMFDM today. I listen to them once in a while. Usually when I have more energy than I know what to do with…today is the perfect day!

• I forgot to take my Paxil yesterday and I’m really paying for it today. I’m super dizzy! I hate it when that happens…it even makes me feel kinda pukey. I can’t believe that just one day without it does this to me. It’s very obvious that my body is addicted to the stuff…which I hate the idea of, but oh well. It keeps me (sorta) sane.

• I’m still not totally happy with the smilies I have on here. I will either look for a different pack or create a pack of my own. The latter would take more time, so I’m hoping I can find some premade ones that I like.

• My cat, Araya, is sitting on my lap with her arm and head resting on my wrist. Do you know how hard it is to type with a cat laying on your arm?   Carpal Tunnel, here I come! :?

• Lonnie just turned to me and said, “Can you put a sock in it? I need to make a call!” I’m dying over here…hahaha. That was so funny. He wasn’t being rude like it may seem…he was quoting “Zoolander” when he tells Billy Zane to put a sock in it. Everytime I see that part of the movie, I nearly hyperventilate with laughter! (I’m easily amused…in case you hadn’t noticed.)

• My leg is totally asleep now…but I’m feeling too guilty to move Araya. Wow…she’s so spoiled. I’m willing to let my leg die rather than have to disturb her while she’s sleeping.

• My son has been listening to Insane Clown Posse lately. I’ve never been ashamed of anything he’s done…until now! I mean really…yuck! They totally suck! I’m hoping this is just a phase that he will outgrow ASAFP!!!

• Uh, yeah…speaking of my kids and their horrific taste in music, my daughter asked me, “Will you please burn me a CD of Miley Cyrus?” I pretty much want to kill her friend for getting her into that crapola. She had no interest in Miley Cyrus AKA Hannah Montana prior to spending two nights at her friend’s house. Once again - I hope it’s a phase!!!

• My neck hurts.

• Wow! It’s like Araya knew what I just typed…she got up!

• If any of you use Twitter, please let me know! I haven’t found anyone over there that I know, and I would like to add my friends to my list of people I’m following. ;)

• Awww, man! :( I didn’t realize National Left-Handers Day was on August 13th! What a total bummer. I would have celebrated like a mo-fo! Oh well…next year.

• We got my daughter a desk from a garage sale the other day. It was only 5 bucks…pretty nice desk, too. The only problem is that it needs to be painted. It’s white…some of the paint is chipped off here and there. It looks kinda trashy because of it. Well, we have some spray paint to paint it with, but the weather isn’t cooperating. It’s too hot and humid outside. The paint wouldn’t stick on there properly. Of course, my daughter is all bummed out about it…she wants her desk and she wants it NOW. There’s no winning! :|

• My feet are frozen solid. I’m going to go put socks on.

• Ahhh…much better!

• Okay, the time has come for me to shut the heck up. I have a lot of stuff I need to accomplish today. I want to come up with at least two new designs for my shop. I have an idea brewing in my head…just gotta make it work in Photoshop. I also need to begin the layout for a client’s site. On top of that, I need to figure out how to code a tree menu for another client’s site. I also need to clean around the house, figure out what to cook for dinner, and do a buttload of other stuff. Wow…I’m even more busy than I thought!

• I’ve been Photoshopping all day today. I was supposed to be working on a website layout, but instead I’ve been making graphics for my own use.     Lonnie’s going to kill me!

• I still haven’t figured out why not all of the smilies show up when I type the shortcuts in. Must be a Wordpress glitch or something.  Oh well…I’m not bothered enough by it to attempt to fix it.

• It’s been SO hot the past few days. My daughter wanted to have a picnic, but there’s no way I’m willing to sit outside in the extreme heat and eat.  We’re going to have to wait and do it once it cools down a bit.

• Lonnie’s cat just went into heat again.

• I ran out of creamer for my coffee earlier.       I really hate it when that happens.  I much prefer my coffee with a splash of creamer…but I’ll drink it black if need be - which is exactly what I did.

• I was going to call my Dad today, but I doubt that he’s up to talking on the phone. I can’t wait to hear his voice again. I’ve been really worried about him. Knowing he’s all laid up in the hospital and I can’t visit him is killing me!    :(

• Tomorrow is my Mom’s birthday. Although I dread the idea of turning the oven on, I need to. I’ve got to bake her a birthday cake. Birthdays aren’t the same without a cake & candles.  (She’s turning 61…although she claims to still be 39…AS IF!)

• I just asked Lonnie to rub some Tiger Balm into my shoulders and neck. I hurt SO badly today. I carried a huge air conditioner from downstairs all the way up stairs. I had no choice. Since Lonnie had four teeth extracted, it’s against the dentist’s orders to lift heavy stuff…that left me.  I’m certainly paying for it now. My back hurts!!!

• Wow, cool. I didn’t expect him to rub Tiger Balm on my neck while I sit here, but he just started doing it, so I can continue to blog while I get rubbed down. This is the life!    :D

• I chatted with Amir for a few hours today!    :)    It was so nice to chat with him again. He’s always such a positive influence…he could make the Grinch smile!

•  The vapors from the Tiger Balm are making my eyes burn.    :o

•  Baked Cheetos are so freakin’ tasty! Mmmm!

•  We bought a new doorknob for our bedroom door. I can’t believe it didn’t have a locking knob to begin with. That should be a given, right? I mean, it’s a five bedroom house…a house this big is almost always going to have kids living in it. Parents need a way to lock themselves in their room! The last thing my kids need is to be scarred for life because they came barging into our room and got an eyeful of some X-rated shenanigans! GOSH! Home builders need to use their noggins!

•  I love Legos!

•  Well, it’s 6:30 at night and I have no idea what to make for dinner. We normally eat at 6:30, so this is not a good sign.       I’d better get off of here and go prepare some food for the family.  Buh-bye for now!   8)

Sheepdogs are trained to obey their master’s every word. So when farmer David Kennard decided one of those words would be “Spring”, his dogs did not hesitate. They rounded up the flock on the hills of Mr Kennard’s north Devon farm and, with a little help from their master, created a picture that reminds us that, whatever the weather, this is officially the first weekend of Spring. The scene did call for a careful scattering of feed to make the sheep form themselves in the shapes of the six letters…

…However, it was down to the team of Collies—who everyone knows border on the brilliant—to have the last word. They circled the 200-strong flock and kept them from wandering off-message.

Three of David’s five working dogs – Mist, Fern and Jake – were employed to help create the perfect lettering, which took three hours to achieve.

¤ I can’t seem to take in enough water today. I’m super-duper thirsty! :eyes: I haven’t had any coffee…too busy guzzling water!

¤ It’s sunny today! :D This is the first day I’ve seen clearings in the sky in over a week! I love rain, but the gloom has been getting to me lately. I keep finding myself saying, “I cannot wait ’til summer!” I keep daydreaming about laying in the sun, mowing the lawn, pulling weeds, going to the beach…etc. I just cannot wait for summer this year!

¤ We’re going to try out the nude beach this summer. I’ve never been to one, so it should be interesting. I’ll be sure to bring my camera and the telephoto lenses!

¤ My daughter still doesn’t have her permanent cast on yet. She’s got a temporary one that’ll be okay to keep on. Her orthopedic doctor won’t be back in his office ’til Monday, though, so she’s just gonna have to wait. She’s very, very excited!

¤ I have absolutely no idea what I’m going to make for dinner tonight. Quite frankly, I’m sick of cooking every single flippin’ day. I wish someone else would surprise me with, “I’m going to make dinner tonight!” Psssht…as if!

¤ We got some Raisin Nut Bran the other day. Holy cow! That stuff is tasty. I dig it. It’s lightly sweetened, so there’s no need to add sugar or anything. It’s also a good source of whole grain goodness. :D

¤ I did my nails last night. I got to thinking about it, and I realized that only two days have gone by in the last two months where I didn’t have a French Manicure. I fear that I’m turning into one of those high maintenance chicks that I’ve always disliked!

¤ Speaking of high maintenance, I need to get my hair trimmed. The ends are looking like crap.

¤ My toes are really, really cold! :(

¤ I watched Conan O’Brien for the first time in a long time last night. That’s one hysterical guy. I cannot help but laugh my ass off when I watch his show. I should watch it more often. Laughing does a body good!

¤ We’re thinking of driving out of town to visit Lonnie’s parents this weekend. We really need to get out and do something. A short road trip always helps us regroup. Not only that, but it’s a good way to do some bonding with the kids. The four of us always have so much fun on road trips!

¤ I need to upload more music to my mp3 player. I’m getting tired of the same stuff all the time. It holds a lot, but I seem to only listen to a few things…generally things that are good for speed walking. Slayer is awesome to walk to. Most of the songs on “South of Heaven” are the perfect speed to walk to. I love Slayer, but I’m getting burned out listening to them every single time I walk. I need some variety.

¤ My cat is sleeping in her bed behind me…and she’s snoring. How incredibly adorable! :D

¤ I gave the vacuum a total tune-up the other day. I took it apart and cleaned all the hair and fuzz out, cleaned the filter, and I even bought a new belt for it. It runs like it’s brand new now! My carpet thanks me. :) I really miss having hardwood floors, though.

¤ I’m addicted to Extra sugar free bubble gum. (The one in the pink package.)

¤ I am really close to being finished with the website I’ve been working on. I cannot believe how much content those people needed to have on it!

¤ I still haven’t spent my origami dollar bill. :)

¤ My tummy is hurting, so I’m going to wrap this up and go chillax for a couple minutes. I think it’s because I took a pill on a totally empty stomach. Yuck.
